Forget everything that you think you know... Apart from our brand new November covers. Don’t forget them. Yes, our November issue ventures into another dimension, focusing on Marvel’s new mind-bender, Doctor Strange, and it's onsale next week.

First up is our newsstand cover, featuring the one and only Benedict Cumberbatch as surgeon-turned-magical-hand-gesticulator, Stephen Strange.

The best-dressed bunch this side of the Quantum Realm assemble on our exclusive subscribers’ cover, seeing Cumberbatch flanked by Chiwetel Ejiofor (Baron Karl Mordo), Tilda Swinton (The Ancient One) and Benedict Wong (Wong).

But it’s not just the cape-wearing Marvel star filling this month’s pages, with a new set of secrets unveiled from Rogue One, an on-set look at Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, and a tribute to the late, inimitable Gene Wilder, amongst much, much more.

Our dimension-hopping issue hits all good and evil newsstands on Thursday 29 September. To ensure an exclusive cover drops onto your doormat every month, subscribe to Empire right here{ =nofollow}.

Doctor Strange is released in cinemas on 25 October, 2016.
