Black Mass director Scott Cooper is now rolling the cameras on his latest movie, the Christian Bale-starring Hostiles. But he's found time to stage a reunion that should delight anyone who enjoyed the underrated 3:10 To Yuma, as Ben Foster is now on board the new frontier drama.

Hostiles, which is in 1892, finds Bale as a legendary Army Captain, a man with no love for Native Americans after years of conflict, agreeing to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief and his family back to tribal lands. But the journey will not be an easy one – they have to make it from an isolated military outpost in New Mexico to the grasslands of Montana while overcoming the challenges of the landscape and hostile Comanche tribes. But they also encounter a young widow (Rosamund Pike) who is making a similar trip, and must join forces if they're all to survive.

Foster joins a cast that already also includes West Studi, Adam Beach, Q’orianka Kilcher, Stephen Lang, Peter Mullan, Michael Parks and singer/actor Ryan Bingham, a veteran of Cooper's country music drama Crazy Heart, who will be appearing and composing songs for this one. Hostiles is shooting in New Mexico and should be out next year.
