While the focus of the Han Solo Star Wars spin-off will naturally be on the early days of the smuggler, there are just some things you can't escape in that galaxy far, far away. And one of those is the creeping influence of the Empire. Ron Howard, who is directing the Solo movie, hinted at that with a new tweet from the set.
The image, of course, is of an Imperial helmet, one worn by soldiers on the Death Star. Will the battle station feature in the film? If it does at all, it's more likely to be a background point, since Solo didn't have experience of the giant construct until after meeting Luke and Ben Kenobi in the original Wars.
But did know a thing or two about outwitting the Empire, so perhaps this is more a nod to Star Destroyers and other forces. We'll find out when the movie, which Howard took over directing this year, arrives on 25 May next year.
Before that though, we have The Last Jedi hitting our screens. And the director of that film, Rian Johnson, stopped by The Star Wars Show to talk about his work. Well, mostly he talks with Hamilton stage director Thomas Kail, but it's a fun chat nonetheless.
