We've had a couple of posters for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story already, stretching back to the first one. Director Gareth Edwards debuted the latest on The Star Wars Show, where he also let slip that the new trailer will be touching down on Thursday morning. Not too long to wait...
It's an impressive image that gives the rest of the ensemble cast a chance to shine, where the focus previously has often been on Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso or vehicles.
This time around, with Darth Vader lurking in the shadows of the Death Star are Diego Luna's Captain Andor, droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen), Baze Malbus (Wen Jiang), Riz Ahmed's Bodhi Rook and Imperial type Director Orson Krennic, played by Ben Mendelsohn. The only one of the main cast not to be featured is Mads Mikkelsen's Galen Erso, and we feel Hannibal Lecter would have something to say about him rudely being left off the image...
