Chalk up Shane Black and The Predator as the latest victim of Drip Feed Castingitis, as actors in the movie's ensemble have been announced in dribs and drabs. The newest member of the on-screen group is all-round charm factory Jacob Tremblay, who will have a key role.

Black's script, co-written with Fred Dekker, finds Boyd Holbrook as a former Marine who discovers the existence of the terrifying, hunting-obsessed aliens. Trouble is, no one believes him, and the government, in the shape of Sterling K. Brown's agent, tries to shut him up. He'll have help from the likes of ex-military comrade Trevante Rhodes, scientist Olivia Munn and Keegan-Michael Key, who has an unspecified role in the movie.

As for Tremblay, he's playing Holbrook's son, an autistic lad who has been bullied in school, but has an incredible ability to learn languages, which will come in handy given the new threat. Black is preparing to shoot the movie next month in Vancouver.

Since impressing audiences and critics in Room, Tremblay has won several roles, including in Colin Trevorrow's upcoming The Book Of Henry and novel adaptation Wonder, which is out on 7 April.
