As he dusts himself off after the belly flop of the new Fantastic Four and looks instead to the future, Miles Teller is finding no shortage of work. He’s now in early negotiations to star in American Sniper writer Jason Hall’s directorial debut, **Thank You For Your Service{
The writer adapted the script from David Finkel’s nonfiction 2014 tome, which followed what happened to American veterans home from Iraq and their struggles to adapt to civilian life after their experiences in combat. And the script focuses on three specific soldiers who must deal with what they saw overseas and how that affects their re-integration into family life and the workplace.
From the sounds of it, Teller is up for the role of one of the troopers, and it sounds like something he could bring some intensity to. There’s no word on when the film might start production.
Teller most recently worked on Todd Phillips’ new comedy Arms And The Dudes alongside Jonah Hill and will also be seen in Allegiant, the two-part adaptation of Veronica Roth’s third tome in the Divergent trilogy. He also has boxing biopic Bleed For This awaiting release.
