Sunday night saw the Hollywood Foreign press give out its annual Golden Globe Awards, which honours both film and TV. On the small screen front, spy series The Americans was the main drama winner for its final season, while The Kominsky Method also did well, scoring in its category and the comedy actor award for Michael Douglas.
There was good news for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story, which took home Limited Series Or TV Movie and the Actor award in that section for Darren Criss. Sandra Oh, who was also co-hosting the awards, scored for Killing Eve, and there was more good news for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Rachel Brosnahan, nabbing the comedy actress award. Finally, Brits did well in two awards, as Richard Madden won for Bodyguard and Ben Whishaw went home with a trophy for A Very English Scandal.
