If a trailer breakdownwith director Tim Miller and producer Simon Kinberg, two amazing new covers and an infomercial from The Merc with a Mouth himself wasn't already enough, we've got more Deadpool-y goodness for you before our new issue hits shelves tomorrow. We're spoiling you, we know.
With his mouth no longer wired shut ("sometimes studio politics can interfere with fanboy dreams, even my own," Reynolds told us), Deadpool is set to make serious NSFW waves when hitting screens on February 4.
"This film certainly works within the context of the X-Men universe," Reynolds told Empire, "but it doesn't necessarily include the sensibilities of an X-Men movie. It's like taking an X-Men character, pumping him full of LSD and then releasing him back into the fold."
Talking of X-Men, those who have seen the trailers will be well aware of a certain X-Man's presence. No longer played by Daniel Cudmore, Andre Tricoteux fills Colossus' giant shoes and can be seen alongside Negasonic Teenage Warhead in a new 'is-Deadpool-or-isn't-Deadpool-breaking-the-fourth-wall' still below.
She may be wearing a black ensemble to make Neo jealous above, but Brianna Hildebrand does sport the odd bit of colour as Deadpool's surly compadre - and yes, that is indeed a New Mutants uniform below.
Also onboard (though definitely not on Deadpool's side) is Gina Carano as super-strong mutant, Angel Dust. She may not have a lot to say in the trailers, but we've seen her fists do the talking and it certainly takes a brave mutant to consider going up against Colossus.
For much, much more on Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds and the X-Men universe at large, be sure to pick up a copy of our new issue when it goes on sale tomorrow.
