Dacks all folks! Sacha Baron Cohen strips down in the new Grimsby poster

Sacha Baron Cohen in Grimsby

For his next cinematic outing Sacha Baron Cohen is unleashing mayhem on the world of espionage. As this new Grimsby poster reveals, his ad hoc assassin Nobby has been absolutely nowhere near Q’s official wardrobe or the Kingsmen’s dressing room. Nope, he’s going into action in his pants. Rebel Wilson and Gabourey Sidibe have absolutely no problem with that.

Grimsby sees Mark Strong playing Sebastian Graves, the M16 super-spook whose violent mission is depicted in the trailer. Baron Cohen plays his very gormless brother. The pair have been separated for many years but to Sebastian’s obvious chagrin, they’ve been reunited. Nobby means well but he’s more bushel than lantern in the smarts stakes, and his unofficial occupation – England football hooligan – is a source of embarrassment for his sibling.

Directed by Luc Besson protégé Louis Leterrier, Grimsby also stars Isla Fisher, Rebel Wilson, Gabourey Sidibe and Penélope Cruz. Head here for the red-band trailer.

And good news for fans of SBC’s brand of no-holds-remotely-barred comic anarchy, Grimsby’s UK release date has moved forward. It’ll now be out on February 24. Maybe not in Grimsby.
