It’s the biggest night in British film, an important bellwether for the Oscars, and a key contributor to the carpeting industry (at least, for those in red). The 69th annual British Academy Film Awards took place in a glitzy ceremony at London’s Royal Opera House tonight, with The Revenant and Mad Max: Fury Road emerging as the big winners with five and four BAFTAs respectively. As for the remaining contenders? Well, no other film walked away with more than one bronze mask.

For a full breakdown of tonight's BAFTAs - from red carpet to Best Film - head here for our live, by-the-minute breakdown.
