In a high-tech office building, security guard David Bradley has developed a fatal obsession with career girl Elizabeth Gracen, the architect who designed the place, and he uses the automated devices to lock her in with him for the night so he can treat her to his idea of "the perfect evening", which kicks off with dropping her regular boyfriend (Jeff Yagher) down a liftshaft and features a romantic candle-lit mass murder for two.
Enjoyably contrived - you might question the likelihood of that useful display of man-traps in the lobby - and with a few effective suspense sequences, but the three uncharismatic lead performances prevent it from achieving its potential.
