The multiplying creatures are back and nastier than before, running riot in a Trump-like office building in Manhattan. To make matters worse, the Gremlins encounter some experimental drugs that turn them into anything from a giant spider to an intellectual party animal. A worthy sequel with truckloads of in-jokes (Grandpa from The Munsters plays a TV horror show host), plus Gizmo the Mogwai, the cutest and furriest hero in the history of the movies.
Gremlins 2: The New Batch Review
Fluffy fun-ball Gizmo had been incarcerated in a genetics lab, conveniently situated in the same building where Billy and Kate, our heroes from the first outing, are working in New York. Gizmo gets wet, gremlins abound, and Billy and Katie have to prevent them escaping from the building at nightfall.

Gremlins 2: The New Batch
You can really tell that the people making this film had a lot of fun doing it. The plot is thinner than a compressed wafer, but who cares? It's fun and cheap laughs all the way, and that ain't no crime.
