Co-writer/director Michael Dougherty is close to start shooting giant monster sequel Godzilla: King Of The Monsters. And he's adding two new people to the cast, albeit one who has a little experience dealing with the titular creature: Sally Hawkins and Charles Dance are now in the ensemble.
Hawkins is bringing her character 'Zilla-tracking scientist Dr. Vivienne Graham back from 2014's Godzilla to once again work with Ken Watanabe's Dr. Ishiro Serizawa. As for Dance, his character has yet to be revealed, though we can anticipate him having no time for the monstrous madness.
Indeed, the plot is a mystery right now, aside from the fact that it'll see Godzilla once again battling other big beasts. Millie Bobby Brown, Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Aisha Hinds and O’Shea Jackson Jr. are already aboard and Dougherty is aiming for a 22 March 2019 release date.
