We've had one trailer for Cars 3 that suggests Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) suffers a terrible fate in the film, and one showing that he bounces back. The new teaser for the movie offers a bit of both.
This time around, the film is focusing on Lightning, once the young hotshot of the track, now an older veteran struggling to keep up with the competition. He's especially challenged by newcomer Jackson Storm (Armie Hammer) and will need a little help from technician Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo) if he's to match up.
And this "Next Generation" teaser shows us that the competition will be tougher than ever, but that our four-wheeled hero still has a few tricks up his sleeve... er... wheel arch?
Cars 3 drives our way on 14 July, crossing the cinematic chequered flag a little under a month after its 16 June Stateside debut.
